I found this article linked in a friend's journal. It totally pisses me off! Little kitty wants to use her sniper rifle...
Isn't the Hippocratic oath about helping the patient? Isn't it about healing rather than judging or imposing your beliefs and biases upon the patient? Ya know, the patient doesn't go the doctor to be told things like my beliefs prevent me from helping you.
And while some may say that perhaps this is only Catholics and Catholicism, I can see other fundamentalist Christian groups, who aren't Catholic, also doing the same to patients in need of their help.
